Full Description

Late 19th/early 20th century cast iron drinking trough marked Walter Macfarlane and Co, Saracen Foundry, Glasgow. Macfarlane's were a prolific manufacturer of cast iron street furniture between 1849 and 1965 and exported around the world; this trough is likely to date to their mid-period heyday.<1><2>
