Full Description
C19? Timber-framed building used as stable/tack room (although the building is marked on the Tithe map of c.1841). Weatherboarded (tarred feather-edged boarding) with slate roof. Internally, the walls are boarded and lath and plaster. The ceilings are also lathe and plaster. All external walls have brick on edge infill between studs (nogging). All frame joints appear to be nailed with the exception of irregular shaped timbers. Breewood Hall (MCC3616) is dated to the 15th century while the adjacent Coach House (MCC3617) is dated to the Late 18th/early 19th century.<1>
