Full Description

16th century house with two tenements, shops and a 14th century cellar. House was much altered early in the 18th century. Wing at back is possibly of 17th century. The cellar has rubble walls and a cross-wall with a 14th century doorway in it. West of the doorway is a pointed niche. The shop on the west has some 16th century moulded ceiling -beams.<1> 16th century origin, much altered in the early 18th century and later. Three storeys, timber framed and tiled. Upper storey projects at rear and east side of rear wing has some good 17th century pargetting.<2>
