Full Description
1996: No. 6 Dispersed site associated with WWII airfield; no longer extant.<1><2> Aerial photographs <3><4>.
2006: An Air Ministry plan of Boxted Airfield and its Dispersed Sites, dated November 1944, shows Dispersed Site No. 6 standing alongside, to the west of, the old A12 Ipswich Road. It comprised 35 buildings and other structures. The site is now a hotel alongside the A12/A1232 interchange.<5>
