Full Description

An evaluation comprising three achine- dug trenches revealed evidence of Roman and later date. <1>. The earliest activity on site is the Roman features including a Masonry foundation: it is the most southerly evidence of the Roman suburb yet to be found North of the River. <1>.

Roman remains I.e. structures on site on same allignment as previously recorded buildings (See PRNs 12365 and 13248) to the North.
