Full Description

The new main was laid immediately to the West of the lanes known as Carters Hill and Parsonage Hill. The initial phase of soil striping yielded medieval pottery and prehistoric flint finds. Only One possible early feature was identified. It could have been a N- South ditch or deposition of earlier topsoil into a natural fold in the side of the valley. <1>.
