Full Description

Ruinous C13 church showing alterations in C17. The north wall of the chancel contains two C15 windows repaired with C17 brick. Similarly in north wall of nave a former doorway is blocked up with C17 bricks. <1> Other ref. <2> The roof of the church collapse after the Essex Earthquake of 1884. Site scheduled May 2001. <3>
