Full Description
Adjacent to the site of the boat (ESMR 17645) found in 1993 Mr. Hawkins also found a sherd of pottery later identified as Saxon 450- 700AD (Large rim sherd probably from a cooking pot). Also bones of horse and cattle- a leg bone and skull fragment (respectively). <1>.
