Full Description

In June 1993 on the foreshore off Waldegraves Farm, Mersea Island, The remains of a boat were found by Mr. A. Hawkins. Subsequently a section was dug through the mud within the boat and the plan and photos sent for identification.
At the same time as he found the boat Mr. Hawkins made several finds on the adjacent foreshore. (See ESMR) <1>- <3>.
