Summary

Geophysical survey (magnetic susceptibility ans magnetometry) by Stratascan in 2000 showed strong geophysical anomalies interpreted as kiln sites and wasters. However, trial trenched evaluation by Hertfordshire Archaeological Trust did not define any archaeological features or finds.

Geophysical survey showed features thought to be kiln sites and wasters.<1>
An archaeological evaluation of the site following the geophysical survey failed to reveal any archaeological features or finds.<2>
