Full Description

The Dedham Hall Leet or Frankpledge Court stood at the Eastern end of the church, with its gable facing north on to the market-place and its east front facing onto a farmyard garth (now Royal Square), which included barns and granaries. May have originated as the manor-house, before being replaced by the present Dedham Hall. <1>
