Full Description

An aerial photograph taken in 1960 and a 1:1250 map dated 1994 show an hexagonal pillbox with its entrance on the SSW side standing on the south bank of the River Colne approx. 40 yards SW of a small bridge. It is possibly of the same 19ft 6in type as SMR 10948 (MCC4772).<1><2>

The site has not been visited although its thicket-covered shape can be seen from the A12 roadway.
