Unusual First World War Memorial. Carved, slender wooden cross on a stone base, surrounded by railings.<1>

The Roll of Honour website records:
'It takes the form of a Latin cross on tapered shaft atop a plinth with a one step base surrounded by iron railings and contains the same names as the church plaque; there are no names for World War 2 just World War 1. It was unveiled and dedicated 30th May 1920, the builders were Messrs. Deaves and Son. These details were originally taken from the original dedication sheet used for the unveiling of the memorial.'
