Full Description

On Brookhouse Road, another lane joining the two villages, are two pair of semi-detached houses. The pair built in 1906 (the inscription is R.H. 1906) are of red brick under a slate roof. The other pair, known as Brookhouse Cottages have the inscription R.H. 1910. These are of red brick under slate roofs with open timberwork cladding the gable ends. The upper storey is rendered over, although the brick dressings around the windows and quoins remain exposed. This pair has been altered and extended. <1>
