A late 17th century house.

The deeds of the house date to 1668 according to the owners of the house (pers com. Mr and Mrs Warner)

D of E survey of No 8 East Hill. C18, 3 storey and attics, timber framed and plastered, the roofs tiled. Parapet front, 3 window range of double hung sashes with glazing bars, the upper storey projects on the front. Two doorways, one reached by a flight of steps with a handrail. <1>
