17th century house with 19th century brick front.
DOE survey of No's 35 to 39 St John's Street. Grade II. C17 altered in C18, No 37 has an early C19 brick front. Timber-framed and plastered. Two storeys, No 37 has 3 storeys, 4 windows to group, sashes with glazing bars. No 37 has modern shop front, the other C19 shop fronts, No 39 has a good one with plain pilasters. Old tile roof. <1>
