Listed as C16 timber framed house. However, inspection in 2020 and 2021 revealed origins as a timber framed 15th century hall house with a cross wing. Multi phase with many later alterations. Chimney stacks added/replaced in 16th, 17th and 18th centuries. The house was refaced in brick in the 19th century, extended to the rear and reconfigured internally. Alterations continued into the 20th century, with changes to chimenys, fireplaces, windows and the north east rear range. <1>
