Full Description

Late 17th century house (forthcoming cellar survey record indicated late 17th century date) now integrated into 54a and No 6 East Hill.

DOE survey: 18th century timber-framed and plastered house, the roofs tiled, 2 storeys and attics, one gabled dormer. Four windows to pair, sashes with glazing bars. No 54 has a modern door, No 53 a panelled door with plain pilaster surround and flat hood over. Timber-framing exposed in upper storey. <1>
