Full Description

Possibly 17th century house behind 19th century facade.

DOE survey of No 73 East Hill. Grade II. Stuccoed early C19 front to earlier building, 2 storeys, blocking course and cornice below roof of slates and tiles (at the rear). 5 window range of double hung sashes without glazing bars, centre front breaks forward slightly and has a tripartite upper storey window with moulded flat head on brackets, ground floor has former central entrance (doorway converted to window) with fluted columns in antis. Channelled stucco to ground floor, arched carriage entrance at east end with one window over. <1>
