16th century house

RCHME survey of 37 East Street. House 'was built probably late in the 15th or early in the 16th century. The upper storey projects in front on curved brackets' <1>

DOE survey of No 37 East Street. Grade II. Built circa 1500, two storeys, gable to the front, the roofs tiled, cellars. The upper storey projects on the front and is restored C18 bay window on ground floor with double hung sashes and glazing bars, 6 panel door.<2>
