Summary

An office block dating to 1938. Recorded by Colchester Archaeological Trust in November 2014 (assigned number FLG 2 during the 2000 building assessment), following decommission and before demolition (in advance of redevelopment, CBC planning application 131935) in 2015.

Full Description

FLG 2 is located to the east of and just to the north of the Annexe (MCC3105), aligned E to W and was built in 1938 to provide additional office space. It is a two-storey building of yellow stock brick with dimensions of 230 x 115 x 65mm laid in stretcher bond with a hipped slate roof.<1><2>
