Full Description
Pit [208] measured 1m long x 0.23m deep. Located in Area 1, it was partially obscured by the edge of excavation and in between the two pits containing cremated bone fragments. However upon investigation, this pit yielded a fragment of late medieval tile (57g) and a fragment of residual Roman tile (67g) and was not thought to relate to the Roman activity.<1>
