Full Description

A series of deposits relating to the Boudiccan destruction of the town in AD 61 were recorded, consisting of a north-south running daub wall, which had burnt and collapsed. The wall itself measured 0.64m x 0.56m, and rose to a level of 32.57m OD. A large quantity of collapse material remained, the dumps reaching a maximum height of 32.73m OD.<1>
