Full Description

Roman features on the site at Jarmin Road consisted of at least two ditches and a small number of pits, each containing domestic waste dating from the early Roman or possibly Late Iron Age period through to the early 2nd century. No evidence associated with the late 4th-century kiln was identified, but one piece of cremated human bone may derive from a nearby disturbed Roman burial. <1>
