Probable Roman building (B2), recorded during Site B excavations in advance of the construction of Cunobelin Way (and the housing estate to the north), north of Gosbecks Archaeological Park, in 1995-6.

Full Description

One of two probable Roman buildings identified at the site north of Gosbecks on Site B (the other is on Site C, MCC2906), the remains of which were quite poorly preserved. The remains for this structure are a complex of small ditches or shallow trenches and a number of post-holes that appear to form a related group, although it is not absolutely clear how these elements interact. There were no surviving floor layers found.<1>
