Full Description
The northern (recut) ditch for the Roman road was identified beneath the foundations of a 19th century greenhouse, although no trace of the road itself had survived.<1>
The ditch, and site, was previously investigated by Colchester Archaeological Group between 1996-98 (ECC3895).<2>
