Full Description

There was a surprisingly small amount of LIA/Roman material from Area KR. The two LIA/Roman ditches in Area KR (KRL2201 and KRF3501) suggest that the field system was not as well defined here as in Areas E/F. However, the high level of modern disturbance encountered here means that the surviving archaeological remains may under-represent the original extent of the LIA/Roman field system.
