Full Description
Trench B2 (Area B) contained two Roman ditches (BF202-BF203), which when considered with the quantity of Roman pottery, brick and tile (also tesserae and septaria) that was recovered from the area, suggest that forms of Roman extra-mural activity, other than burial, occurred in the vicinity. <1>
