Two urns from Abbey field may indicate presence of a Late Iron Age cremation cemetery in the vicinity.

An Iron Age cinerary urn was found on Abbey Field c1905. <1><2><3>. Two Iron Age vessels found on Abbey field in 1904, a small cinerary vase and a two handled jug. Purchased by H. Laver <4><5><6><7>
