Full Description
An abundance of Roman tile was recovered from the slope rising from the flood plain of the Colne North of the River. The area was near the kiln excavated in 1969/70 but the size of the spread was thought to indicate the possible existence of several other kilns in the vicinity. A particular concentration of material was found at TL982262.<1>
