Full Description

Ingolesby Fort, part of 1648 Parliamentary siege works situated on low lying land east of Sheepen Hill.<1> A square fort with a bastion at South West corner and flankers at South East, North East and North West corners, salient on east side, apparently detached from siege line.<2>
