Full Description

RCHME survey of 38 & 39 Stockwell Street. House of 'two tenements, was built in the 16th century with a cross wing at the S end. The upper storey projects at the E end of the cross wing ; a door on the this side is of moulded battens. <1>

DOE survey of No's 37 & 38 East Stockwell Street. Grade II. Picturesque C16 house, 2 storeys and attics, the roofs tiled. Gable at the south end of the east front with projecting upper storey. Modern windows and doorways.<2>
