Full Description

RCHME Survey of No 62 West Stockwell Street. House was 'built c1600 but the S part of the house is a late 17th century addition. The front is modern. Inside the building is some early 17th century panelling and overmantel of four arched bays resting on pilasters and having a strap work frieze. There is one original window, with moulded mullions and now blocked.' <1>

DOE survey of No 62 West Stockwell Street. Grade II. Built circa 1600, refronted late C18. The south part of house a late C17 addition. Two storeys, timber framed and plastered, the roofs tiled. The front is rough cast and has a 3 window range of tall double hung sashes with glazing bars. The upper windows have curved ironwork balcony railings. Plain Tuscan door case with deep panelled reveals.<2>
