Full Description

RCHME survey of 145 High Street. This building 'is of three storeys, timber-framed and plastered; the roofs are tiled. It was built in the 17th century but has been refronted and a one-storied extension built at the back. The two upper storeys have original shaped and moulded brackets; the higher projection has a moulded bressumer. Condition- Good, much altered'.<1>

In the Museum Resource Centre, there is a photograph of No 145 High Street showing roof renovation work, dated to 1887 and signed John Joslin.<2>
