Full Description

Coffin burial, High Street nr site of St Runwald's. Part of a wooden coffin base recovered along with a skull, no further details.<1>
Report in CAGF Bulletin Vol.40 that the coffin contained the remains of Anna Maria Taylor, wife of an 18th century druggist. She died in 1795. The placing of her body apparently crowded earlier burials and seven skulls were found underneath.<2>
