Full Description
House, three tenements. The building was not listed by the DOE and must have been destroyed at some time between 1922 and 1971.<1>
A trench was excavated on the site of this building in 1997 for 117-119 Hythe Hill Evaluation. Trench 2 on the site revealed evidence of a 16th -17th century stone and mortar built wall. Finds of pottery, bone, slate and tile were recovered dated to 15th-16th century consistent with the accumulation of rubbish from domestic deposits. Several fragments of glazed tile implied that the building was 'of good quality'.<2>
