Iron Blade of an Anglo-Saxon seax (a type of sword or dagger with a single-edged blade) with thick back and tapering curved point. Length including tang (4 3/4) 24 1/2 ", width of blade 2 1/8". Found whilst dredging River at Colchester about 1880.<1><2>
