Full Description
16th century building identified during excavations at Long Wire Street, 1979. The principal element of CAT Building 150 was a rear wing; the positions of the walls of which were indicated by shallow robber trenches. The surviving features reflect many of the domestic activities which took place at the rear of houses of the medieval period, these included an oven, drains and cess pits.<1>
