Full Description

In 1925 the remains of the pilae of a hypocaust, of square tiles, with pottery, tiles, tesserae, and other indications of a building were recorded in Crouch Street by Mr Rudsdale.<1><2> This is almost certainly part of the hypocaust uncovered in 1973 (see MCC1235).<3>
