Wire's Album notes a tessellated pavement at Lion Walk, discussed in a letter to Roach Smith, 'Lion Walk…at the (south) end one composed of small and different coloured tesserae half an inch square was brought to view, but…the subject could not be discovered, as it appeared to have been…mutilated...' <1><2><3>
