Description
DOE survey of No's 26 & 27 Mersea Road. Grade II. Originally a timber framed building, probably dating from the C17, the upper storey projecting. Refronted in the C19 and shop fronts inserted. Modern alterations. Two storeys, the roof tiled, remains of large chimney stack, gabled staircase extension at the rear.<1>
