Description
DOE survey of No's 39 & 40 East Street. Grade II. C15 origin with cross wing at west end. Two storeys, timber framed and plastered, the roofs tiled. Cellars. The upper storey projects on the whole front and there are remains of brackets. C18 and C19 windows, mostly sashes, one casement. <1>
