Description
In September 2020, Archaeological Solutions Ltd (AS) carried out a programme of archaeological monitoring and recording at 20 Errington Road, Colchester, Essex CO3 3EA (NGR TL 98896 24420; Figs. 1 & 2). The monitoring was carried out as a requirement of a planning condition attached to planning approval for the construction of a single storey rear/side extension with 4no rooflights (Colchester Borough Council Planning Ref. 192907). It was required by the local authority based on the advice of the Archaeological Advisor of Colchester Borough Council (CBC AA).
The monitoring revealed no archaeological features or finds.
