Description
Archaeological monitoring and recording was carried out by John Newman in Februrary 2020 during the groundworks for a new rear extension and soakwaway. Natural (orange sand) was encountered at a depth of c.60cm below modern ground level. A large pit of recent (20th century) date was encountered but no earlier archaeological features or finds were revealed.<1>
