Description
Archaeological Solutions carried out a trial-trenched evaluation, comprising four trenches each 15m x 1.8m in size, on land at 235 London Road, Stanway, in January 2020 in advance of the construction of four detached dwellings. Natural was encountered at between 0.49-0.76m in depth below current topsoil and subsoil. The evaluation revealed no archaeological finds or features.<1>
