Description
Colcheser Archaeological Trust observed groundworks for a new extension to the side and rear of the property in February 2020. Three layers were recorded: topsoil, c.0.65-0.67m thick, subsoil, c.0.36-0.39m thick and natural sand, encountered at c.1.03-1.06m below current ground level. No archaeological features or material were encountered.<1>
