Description
A single trial trench, 5m long x 1.80m wide, was excavated by Cotswold Archaeology in August 2019. Natural subsoil was encountered between 0.33-0.40m in depth, below topsoil. A single feature was identified, interpreted as a small pit or possible post-hole, from which no dating evidence was recovered. No other features or pre-modern artefacts were identified.<1>
