Description

Rex Hull notes 'In October 1957 an old lady told me that she once lived at No 26 East Stockwell Street and that a coloured mosaic pavement was exposed near the garden path about half way down the garden. This was reported to Dr P.G.Laver who came and saw it and directed it to be covered up again. It is still there.' <1> Hull says this is a rediscovery of No 27 (EVT173, 172) but these were located at No 17 East Stockwell Street. The location of No 26 could not be ascertained as the Street appears to have been re-numbered, so the location has not been mapped.
