Description

A Historic England Level 2 (description record) historic building assessment was carried out by Richard Hoggett in 2018 to establish the significance of the building and to inform a planning application.<1> Thorne Roughets is a small, one-and-a-half storey timber-framed, lobby-entrance house of probable 18th-century origin, with later alterations, located on the edge of Dedham Heath.
