Description

In the C.A.G. Bulletin, A.F.Hall summarises a number of observations made at Monkwick and Barnhall relating to the Monkwick-Barnhall Rampart (Berechurch Dyke and Barnhall Dyke). The line of Berechurch Dyke is traced through Monkwick Farm where the foundations of a Tudor? building are recorded. According to Hall the surviving rampart south of the cemetery was levelled about 1955.<1>
